PotatOS

The traditional toolings for robotics development is getting increasingly outdated and not cross-platform compatible. We believe that it is the time for a do over.

PotatOS is an iniative to create an open-source unified Robotic Operating System, that is minimal, cross-platform, and extendable. We won’t make the same mistake of bloating PotatOS that our predecessors made. Only the essential, and nothing else.

PotatOS allow anyone on most major operating systems to program robots as easy as they are building a web application. That means that we ship only the essential, but is endlessly extensible through community contributions and packages. We will also make sure it is compatible with major robotics library so that you will always have everything that you need within reach!

PotatOS aims is simple, build anywhere, and deploy on anything, even on an actual potato.
